Built in 1903 to replace a 1863 building. The Chelsea House is 11,000 square feet.
The site was bought by the Chelsea DDA for $400,000 in December 2008. The DDA originally wanted to demolish the structure and build a 17-car parking lot. An RFP was issued in late 2009.
Save the Livery Coalition
Proponents of an adaptive reuse of the site instead of demolition.
