Why are the residents of North Burns Park Association and the South University Neighborhood Association so concerned about how these two-and-a-half blocks are redeveloped? Because we live here or near, and we care about what South University once was and could become - a destination, a unique and pleasant alternative to the actual "downtown." South U can become a robust and thriving area, without being designated D1, by planning and building smarter rather than simply taller!
