Bill Broucek is chairman and CEO of the new Ann Arbor State Bank.
He was formerly founder of the Bank of Ann Arbor, which he started in 1995.

The time seemed right in 2005 for veteran banker Bill Broucek to retire. He was 70 years old and had a memorable career — he was the first international lender for Detroit-based NBD in the 1960s; he founded Citizens Trust Bank in Ann Arbor in 1974 and later sold it to Society Bank of Cleveland; and in 1996 he opened the Bank of Ann Arbor.
