We are a small, family farm on just over 10 acres of land in Chelsea, Michigan. We are entering our fifth year living and working on this piece of land.

A little about growing practices:

We are Certified Organic through MOSA. We are deeply comitted to our responsibility. Our intention is to be good stewards of the earth and work in harmony with nature. We practice crop rotation, as we plant a very diverse list of crops. We use drip irrigation to conserve water and nurture our plants. We feed our soil based on soil sample testing we do, so the soil can feed the crops. We use only certified organic fertilizers like norwegian sea kelp, and liquid humates to gently support the soil health - we never use harsh chemicals or aggressive synthetic sprays. We walk through our fields with our children and feel proud to be able to reach down and eat fresh veggies that we know are clean and safe. We buy only certified organic and untreated seeds, mainly from small family seed companies. Our goal is to provide freshly harvested, organically grown, reasonably priced produce.

For the 2011 season we will be offering Communty Supported Agriculture (CSA) shares once again. Please join our mailing list to receive newsletters and updates. Please visit our CSA page on our website to get information on pick up locations, pricing, size information and how to join.
