It was touted as a chance for young people on both sides of the U.S.-Canada border to share a love of sports. The Arborough Games brought together teens from Peterborough and Ann Arbor, Michigan and as Fred Rapson reported in 1991, it was a great success (see video link below). Unfortunately, like so many other community projects, the Arborough Games were eventually cancelled due to a shortage of volunteers to run the program.
