The Ann Arbor Newshawks were a satirical "ace team of reporters" - under the names Beaumont Vivant, Chance Langford, and Jacques Labatt - who produced a quarterly-ish "investigative" video report from 2008-2012. The characters were played by Ann Arbor residents Stuart White, Bob Dailey and Pete Fink.

The final Newshawks report was in August 2012. Dailey, who played Chance Langford, died later that year.

August 2012: Dreiseitl fountain in front of city hall, parking, tattoo parlors for seniors ("Elder Tats"), and the game show "You Can't Get There From Here."

April 2012: City council races, public art and the East Stadium bridges.

Fall 2011: Idling ordinance, a call-in segment, Occupy Wall Street, crosswalk ordinance, East Stadium bridges, "trayless dining" at UM.

Summer 2011: Coffee shops, traffic, Fuller Road Transit Center, non-motorized pathways, Adopt-a-Pothole

January 2011: The Big Drip, an outdoor swim competition to be held in Michigan Stadium.

September 2010: Leaf pickup program.

June 2010: Obama's visit to Ann Arbor.

Winter 2010: The Exhibit Museum's Native American dioramas and the East Stadium Bridges.

August 2009: City council email scandal, Skyline High School, Pioneer High School, Huron High School, Ann Arbor News building, Tios, potholes, traffic island plantings. [1]

May 2009: Bike commuters, the closing of the Ann Arbor News.

January 2009: Affordable housing, the "Chicken Kit" commercial, new branch for Ann Arbor District Library.
