The Ann Arbor Art Center is a 501c3 non-profit community arts organization with a downtown gallery located in the historic Walker Building at 117 West Liberty in downtown Ann Arbor, Michigan.

MISSION

Since 1909 the Ann Arbor Art Center has been sparking creativity in people of all ages and artistic abilities. Our mission:

to be a contemporary forum for the visual arts through education, exploration, collaboration and exhibition, and to engage minds, expand perspectives and inspire growth in students of all ages, teachers, artists and the community.”

Through innovative programming, provocative exhibitions, wide-ranging learning courses, and a gallery shop offering handmade artworks, the Art Center engages over 60,000 people annually in exploring the arts.

Marie Klopf is the president and CEO. 

Marie’s management experience and education are well suited to lead the Art Center to effectively accomplish its mission. In 2005 she founded iSupplyCon where she provided strategic advisory and business development services to a variety of businesses throughout Michigan. She has a masters in Administration and a Bachelors of Science in Engineering.
