The Automobile Blue Book (est.1901) was an American series of road guides for motoring travellers in the United States and Canada. Hartford businessman and automobile enthusiast Charles Howard Gillette initiated the series. By the 1910s it became "the standard publication" of its type.

This map is from the 1918 Automobile Blue Book and shows Ann Arbor Michigan. Note the grid of streets where the University Hospital is now, as well as the misnaming of Washtenaw as "Washington".
